New York, U.S.A.: Doublday, Doran & Co, 1928. Autobiography of brilliant writer and student of humanity who has worked with men like Wells and Shaw. She lived in England during WWI and returned to the states afterwards. CONDITION Blue bds with gilt spine title, bottom rear cnr bumped o/w not worn, Red pub staining to top edge, pp 297 with untrimmed page edges, interior tight and fresh, odd expected foxing to ends. Original ocre wrapper is complete but in pieces, with both flaps separate and tears.. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/Poor. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
