This copy is VG in contemporary green embossed cloth with gilt lettering/design to the spine. Spine is sunned to brown, but gilt is still bright. Back board has three small scuffs. Top of spine with a small chip to rear. Tips/ spine ends are crimped, but little edge wear. Binding is firm. PO armorial BP to inside front board. Foldout frontispiece plus a second ( rendering of the first potato planting in Ireland). Text is unmarked/ modestly toned. Rear EPs have scattered writing and a "Bound by Burn 37&38 Kirby St. " sticker. Illustrated throughout. .
