About This Item

Edinburgh & London: Scottish Academic Press, 1972. 1st ed. . Purple Cloth. Fine/VG+. 14.5 Cm x 22 Cm. xiii+162; only obvious flaw is that rear wraparound of unclipped jacket has some small pencil notes, two brown horizontal thin sellotape ghost lines and small patch of surface damage - none of this is of much consequence. I should also note perhaps that the ISBN number as given registered as invalid when used for search. A very nice copy of this comprehensive survey ranging from ancient Greek and biblical views and Middle Ages, via empiricism and rationalism to the 17th century. Will seal jacket in protective wrapper when ordered. Note: quoted non-UK shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
