Clean and unmarked inside and out, in a yellow cloth binding with only minimal wear, consisting of a mild bump to each bottom corner; crisp, bright text with no creased or torn pages; dust jacket is clean and bright, with creased flap, normal shelfwear, and three short tears along top edge. Born in the 1930s, Ronald Sanders writes of his early life, creating a touching, wry, and affectionate memoir of a young man, born of a Liverpool musician father and a Brooklyn Jewish mother and growing up in the streets of New York, and offering a perspective much broader than the incidents he recounts.
