Including essays on Landor, Verlaine, Blunden and Robert Nichols, and on themes such as ideas at war, on Europe, and on the English scene. Featuring two longer essays on France and on the creative imagination. Complete with its unclipped dust wrapper. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only. The dust wrapper is unclipped, very smart with only minor shelf wear, faint spotting to the rear wrap, and minor chipping to the head and tail of the spine.
