8vo, gilt burgundy cloth in a red and black pictorial jacket featuring an organizer addressing a crowd silhouetted against a backdrop of factories. 280pp. The Commissioner of Conciliation within the Department of Labor discusses various strikes he has been involved in, asserting that they are expensive and doomed to failure, and ultimately deprive the worker of money and the ability to earn while the communist party lines its own coffers. Begins with the chapter, "Strikes can Cause the Fall of Governments." Light wear to board extremities, jacket chipped, spine darkened and missing small 1/4" section on spine, not affecting title. Seidman, W344.
