Easton Press, 2003. Like New. SIGNED FIRST EDITION. SIGNED on a special limitation page by John Varley; this is book number 560 of 1,000 copies. Bound in red leather with 22 kt accents, gilded page edges, silk moire endpapers, and a sewn-in satin bookmark. The book is straight and tight with good corners and clean unmarred boards. Textblock is clean with no writing, bookplate, embossed seal or marks. The gilding along the page edges is fine except for a tiny, 1/2" impression on the top fore-edges, otherwise pristine (see photos). Includes a Certificate of Authenticity, also signed by Varley, and bibliographic notes laid in. Frontispiece by Michael Dashow. Great looking copy.
