Ottawa: G.E. Desbarats 1869, 2nd edition. (Paper covers) 202pp. Good to very good. Includes folding map. The top and bottom of the spine are tape-stained and the top of the back cover has a corner crease (partially torn) with tape stains on the inside, a previous owner's name and stamp inside. This second edition replaces the first edition which was destroyed at the printer's. Written in 1868 with the intention to influence public opinion on the acquisition of Rupert's Land.
