Colour illustrated paperback binding with gilt, red and white coloured titles to the front panel and white, red and yellow coloured titles to the back strip. When Jim Grimson's rage is burning him up, already he has set fire to his parents home, and, finds himself in the care of Dr Porsena who uses the author's (Philip Jose Farmer) World of Tiers series to help maladjusted adolescents. Dr Porsena asks Jim to select his character, and Jim chooses Red Orc  son of gloomy Los, Eternal Prophet; Jim finds new levels of rage in Red Orc's mind and finds himself thrown to many worlds looking for answers. OF NOTE: This novel was based on actual psychotherapy done by Dr. A James Giannini, using what is called 'Tiersian' in the book, therapy on troubled adolescence  who read the five books in the World of Tiers sequence by Philip José Farmer, then choose a character from the sequence and from there the therapy begins. At the rear of the book there is an afterword by Dr. A James Giannini. Rubbing of the book edges and panels with age toning of the text block edges and pages.
