The true-life combat memoirs of Marine Recon Officer Charles Dalgleish who served two tours in Beirut and participated in the invasion of Grenada. Major Charles Dalgleish writes in the language of the ordinary Marine and has an eye for details on training, tactics, and weapons. Clint Eastwood produced the film "Heartbreak Ridge" about the Recon Platoon in Grenada. "Recon Marine" is the real story of the officer who led that platoon. B&W photos, 340 pgs. Bottom rear corner spine edge has a closed tear 1" long. 2 small tan circular discoloration spots on rear cover spine edge. Other wise book looks great. Inside rear cover has Grenadier Books address stamped plus an attached order form from Grenadier Books..
