Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott Company (1916)., 1916. First printing limited to 250 unnumbered copies, intended for private distribution. 8vo. 242 pp. Unillustrated. Original half-brown cloth with brown paper over boards. Printed front cover and spinal labels. An exceedingly scarce book on African big game hunting. The spinal cloth has some discoloration and there is an area of stain/abrasion extending up onto the label. In addition the book has two (presumably) insect holes, approx. 1/8" diameter, which extend up from the bottom edge approximately 1/2" into the body (not affecting the print), on pages 167-240. Thus only a good book.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good.
