Gage, which is reprinted on the dust jacket. Bound in green half-cloth over green paper-covered boards. Gilt lettering on spine a tad dulled. Erased gift inscription on front free endpaper. In the color illustrated dust jacket that shows edge-wear, along with a chip boarding the rear-panel and the spine, along with a diagonal closed tear on rear panel. Price of $1.50 intact on the ... spine. First edition, later reprinted by A. L. Burt. The dust jacket illustration by C. W. Gage is a charming Americana tableau, offering a young couple and their horseless carriage, woman at the wheel, amid a bucolic farm scene. Dust jacket is now housed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
