About This Item
Item Is in VERY GOOD Condition. It has very little shelf wear, even for a vintage paperback. The pages inside are pristine with no highlighting, marks, or writing; no dog-earing or bent pages. The paper cover is in VERY GOOD condition with no tears or rips; it has no fraying along the edges except for the bottom edge front edge from shelf rubbing but it is minimal and does not mar the book. There is no crease along the spine, and the spine still has a good tight binding, no loose pages. (please see pictures). Overall in very good condition. This is a facsimile of the original manuscript of the cookbook by Lillie Hitchcock Coit.Contains the recipes that she collected for her cookbook. This book reproduces the original recipes and lists the ingredients. This book is a fascinating window into the social life and social history of the times. Great if you collect Friends of the Bancroft Library Books, or collect California History.
