About This Item

New York, New York: Devin-Adair Company, 1966. First Edition. . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good +. NF/VG+/1st ed. A really nice copy of this mid 60's biography, which certainly had politicial overtones. Clean and bright, tightly bound, no marking or soiling. 256 pages, a few b&w photos, Thurmond always enjoyed the shock element; this time it was his very young wife moving into the Governor's mansion. And back then people were Shocked(in the Conservative South anyway). Dust Jacket has a little wear at the top of the spine and one small closed tear on the front. Excellent bright color to the jacket, which is covered with a removable mylar sleeve.
