About This Item
New York: William Morrow and Co, 1963. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Good. Octavo. 5.5 x 8 in. 378 pp. Good in original grey cloth boards that have some rubbing to the upper and lower edges of the cloth, and a good illustrated dust jacket that has a missing chip on the upper edge of the spine, fading on the spine, and wear to the upper edges and corners. The hinges are worn in, and have a distinct opening at the title page, which featres a previous owner's raised stamp in addition to the author's signature. Signed twice by Toepperwein. The first signature appears on the half-title page in blue ink dated 8/10/1963. The Second signature appears on the title page, also in blue ink but dated 8/24/1963. Both signatures state that the singings occurred in Boerne, Texas.
