This is the scarcer edition with the single novella Reading Turgenev. Described as one of the most beautiful and memorable things Trevor has written it tells the story of a young Irish girl who marries in haste only to discover despair and desolation. She finds consolation in a brief love affair with a boy in poor health.
Book is near Fine. Boards clean. Binding tight. Slight browning to top edge of text block. Previous owner name with words Christmas 1991 in pencil on first blank.
