About This Item

Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, 1936. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 240pp. Blue cloth with a paper spine label. A narrow strip of light browning to the endpapers, a touch of soiling to the pastedowns and the merest hint of spotting to the top- and fore edge. Very good indeed in very good dust wrapper, non-price-clipped but with a touch of spotting and dust soiling, and a little minor wear to the corner tips. A four-page preface by the author precedes ten essays and five reviews (the subjects including Ezra Pound, Hart Crane, Emily Dickinson, T.S.Eliot, E.E.Cummings and Edna St. Vincent Millay)..
