The descriptions of author-photographer, and serious student of the life and writings of Mari Sandoz, LaVerne Harrell Clark are followed with descriptions from Sandoz quoted from The Beaver Men, Crazy Horse, Cheyenne Autumn, The Buffalo Hunters, The Cattlemen, Old Jules, and other writings. A blending of time and time and place.
