About This Item
Garden City, NY: Doubleday, Doran & Co, 1944. First American Trade Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Octavo. 5.75 x 8.25 in. 343 pp. Very good in original black cloth boards with minor rubbing on the back board, with a very good dust jacket that has minor creasing and tears along the bottom edges and corners and some toning to the back panel. The interior text has age-related toning but remains free of foxing. The front free endpaper has a small glue stain from an original advertisement that was pasted into the book. This copy still has this ad laid in.
