Extensive pencil notes to verso of rear cover and lower portion of last page of text, with a dozen or so pages within with marginal check marks, light underlining or a notation. Mild age toning throughout. Apart from these detractions, an execllent, solidly bound reading / reference copy of this rare title. For example, for May 16: 'When I am weak, then am I strong' (2 Cor. 12:10). This must relate to God-given physical as well as mental strength; for Paul here speaks of power to bear 'necessities,' and ability to earn his own living. How many of us have proved it so. In extreme bodily weakness, the words 'water of life' have taken on a new meaning. We have found the Spirit an elixir of health; and we have been surprised what God could do through our weakness.
