In 2000 Lou Reed and director Robert Wilson; along with a cast of singers and actors, premiered Reed's POEtry in Germany. It was a combination of Edgar Allen Poe's poems and stories along with reinterpretation by Lou Reed and some of Reed's stories. The first book publication was in 2003, and, this version published in 2011 has Lorenzo Mattotti's cartoons / illustrations to decorate the book.
