Archontologia Cosmica., 1649. A lovely view of the small city of Rapperswil on Lake Zurich. Three coats of arms at top centre, including two of the city's coats of arms showing two roses on each. Compass in bottom left corner. Principle buildings are picked out within the view by letter with a corresponding key along the bottom. Fishing boats and a sailing ship on the lake in foreground, moutain ranges in background. Copper engraving. Uncoloured. In very good condition, despite a couple of very small rust spots. Size: 320 x 210 mm. (12½ x 8½ inches)
