Used book has very little markings, writing from the previous owner. No DJ. Some bumping, rubbing, fading on the top, spine, edges, corners, front and back covers. Outer page edges with tanning, browning, stains and foxing. Outer edges have top stain of lighter brown but something over the years has splashed on the outer edges and fading has happened. On pages 102-103 something at one time or the pages were printed this way but something has discolored the pages but has not interfered with the read material. Random Harvest is a novel written by James Hilton, first published in 1941. The novel was immensely popular, placing second on The New York Times list of best-selling novels for the year. The novel was successfully adapted into a film of the same name in 1942 under the direction of Mervyn LeRoy. Claudine West, George Froeschel and Arthur Wimperis adapted the novel for the screen, and received an Academy Award nomination for their work. A26.
