ISBN:0-7705-1719-6. 228 pp. A young woman sets off on a journey of discovery to find her roots and with it the history of her family. This is Ca nadian Katherin Govier's first novel. Dj has one 3/4" tear to front top and two tears to back top. 2 tiny tears to bottom, a few small scuffs to front edge. Looks good in plastic cover. Yellow-orange cloth like binding has black lettering on spine and is in excellent cond. Tan endpapers have the main character's family tree. Author has signed the title page.Text is very clean-pristine and very tight. DJ: good Text and endpape rs: fine.. HC and DJ. V. Good/Good.
Synopsis
Katherine Govier is an acclaimed novelist, short-story writer and journalist, born and raised in Alberta and currently living in Toronto. She is the author of eight novels and three short story collections, and is the editor of two collections of travel essays. She is the winner of the Marian Engel Award (for a woman writer in mid-career) among other honours.
