Price of $3.50 on the front flap of the dust jacket. Illustrated with a frontispiece and with eleven black and white plates. An etching in blue on the title page. A biography of the Randolph family, one of the first European families to settle in the United States. Eckenrode explores how the family was impacted by the Revolutionary War (as some of them were Loyalists). He also gives a history of how the Randolphs served Thomas Jefferson's administration. A bit of fading to the boards' edges; jacket shows a closed tear and a long chip to the front panel.
