San Francisco: Ramparts, 1973. Magazine. Eleven issues of the magazine, a complete run for the year 1973. Issues present are Vol. 11 Nos. 7-12 and Vol. 12 Nos. 1-5. Various pagination, stapled wraps, 8.5x11 inches, all with address labels and worn wraps, some with toned pages, Vol. 11 No. 7 with sticker shadow on front wrap and wraps beginning to detach from pages, else generally good condition. Covers the broad range of radical ferment at the time, from the UFW and Cesar Chavez to Watergate, Wounded Knee, the Soledad prison riots, Salvador Allende and the Chilean coup, the aftermath of the Vietnam War, the "Third Sex" (bisexuals) and more. Contributors include Noam Chomsky, Erika Huggins, Timothy Leary, and Paul Krassner. The February issue contains an excerpt from Kurt Vonnegut's novel "Breakfast of Champions" and the May issue contains an excerpt from Huey Newton's autobiography "Revolutionary Suicide
