About This Item
The First UK Printing published by Dennis Dobson, London in 1967. The BOOK is in near Fine condition. Light toning to the text-block but the pages are clean. Previous owner's gift inscription to the front pastedown. The scarce WRAPPER is neatly clipped and is in Very Good++ or better condition. Light age related markings with a mild edge-wear and a few small closed tears to the upper edges. The wrapper looks very attractive in the removable Brodart archival cover. The book has been signed (without dedication) by Ralph Steadman to the front blank end-paper. Profusely illustrated in colour throughout. The first book both written and illustrated by Ralph Steadman and extremely scarce. A sharp copy. More images available on request. Ashton Rare Books welcomes direct contact.
