About This Item

Heinemann. The Raj Quartet (Four volumes) all first editions published by Heinemann between 1966 and 1975. A rare near fine set. Consisting of 1. The Jewel in the Crown (1966). A near fine copy. The jacket is faded to the spine and has one small tear to the top right hand corner of the front panel. Otherwise the wrapper is not clipped and it is quite crisp and without any other wear. The book itself is in excellent condition with no wear at all. It is square and firm. As nice a copy as you would find with this book. 2. The Day of the Scorpion (1968). A near fine copy. Price clipped. There is a patch of browning on the front free end paper. The boards have the odd light mark, otherwise again it is an excellent copy. 3. The Towers of Silence (1971) an excellent near fine copy with only very minor handling wear. Not price clipped. 4. A division of the spoils (1975) a near fine copy. A small previous owner's bookplate to the inside board. Price clipped by the publisher with reprice sticker attached. A small mark on the text block, otherwise again an excellent copy. Overall a very rare complete set to find in this condition.  . Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 1966.
