London:: The National Gallery,, 1967. First edition. Cloth. Near Fine in VG+ DJ. An analysis of the great painting published to coincide with its initial unveiling at the National Gallery, after the restoration which revealed the vivid colours lying beneath thick varnish. Many excellent bw plates reproducing works of art, with an informative commentary. Bound in half beige cloth, half grey-blue board, with no lettering to covers. Dj slightly scuffed along edges, with small tear in upper side. Dust damage to lower side.
