About This Item

Philadelphia: Poetry Publishers, 1931. 1st edition in dust jacket with Art Deco design. Signed and inscribed on the half-title. Poetry on nature and other themes. Myers (1884-1972) was from Manheim in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Her noted early novels featured Amish and Mennonite characters, including Patchwork: A Story of the Plain People (1920) and Amanda: A Daughter of the Mennonites (1921.) 64 pp. Clothbound hardcover. VG in Good jacket. Sound and securely bound. Clean internally. Jacket shows general wear and signs of age, with old tape marks on the inside. Still a presentable copy in a clear archival cover.
