Hardcover Book in Dust Jacket, First Edition/4th Printing (1978). Binding square and tight. Signed by author on Half Title page otherwise contents clean and bright. Jacket is Fair to Good and shows moderate edge wear and is now enclosed in a removable mylar protective sleeve. Inscribed: "To Dorothy with warmest wishes Uri Shulevitz May '79" on the Half Title page. A celebration of a rainy day as seen through the eyes of a child with evocative illustrations by the author in muted shades of green, gray and blue. Caldecott Medal Winner.
