It is "an authentic picture of railway building and engineering in a rural Ontario community". When silver is discovered, the northern Ontario town of Rocky River is developed into a mining centre with a new branch railway. Nan Shipley wrote many books of Canadian historical interest in her career. Light blue paper-covered boards with gilt spine lettering. Text is tight and clean. Dust jacket has light soiling and minor edgewear. .
