Original brown, cloth-covered boards with black lettering and decoration. Wear at the extremities; bump on the spine, endpaper joints cracked but the mull is intact and the covers are firm, acceptable wear given that this book is over 100 years old. Examines railway history, ownership, charges, speculation, competition and legislation in the US, England, France, Central Europe, and Italy.
