New York: The Bobbs Merrill Company, 1907. First edition with the Betts illustrations, 1907. Includes eight full page color plates, decoratve borders in black and shades of red on text pages, additional small illustrations in black and white plus shades of red on half-title and elsewhere. Green cloth with color illustration mounted on the front cover, 11.5 inches tall. Front cover illustration has some light scratching and scuffing, light fraying to the corners and spine ends, old hinge repairs with clear tape, text block sound but not tight (no loosened pages), endpapers and blanks lightly foxed (age speckled), pages clean, no names or other markings.. First Edition Thus. Hard Cover. Fair. Folio - 12" - 15" Tall.
