This title and another book were the basis for the 1954 film "Pushover," featuring Fred MacMurray and Kim Novak in her first starring role. Age-toning to paper. Corners bumped with mild loss. Binding tight and staight. Edgeworn dust-jacket, now protected in an archival plastic cover, has rubbing & soiling with a small chip to spine ends, affecting the "r" in Harper at tail of spine. Extremely scarce.
