About This Item
-Haunch of Venison Gallery (25 Feb. 2002)-. Exhibition catalogue. First edition. 275x215mm 64 pages. Illustrated mainly in colour, some black and white. Cloth. Very good indeed in dustjacket with creasing to front fold. This copy signed and inscribed by the owner of the gallery (this being the first exhibition) to a supporter. Sold together with correspondence to that supporter and photocopied first reviews of the exhibition and gallery. This catalogue marks Rachel Whitereads inauguration of the new gallery space Haunch of Venison. Whitereads negative casts of domestic objects and architectural structures intimately trace the physical evidence of their histories. Through her work Whiteread refines how we see and interpret space with unusual aesthetic sensitivity. This publication is particularly clear, generously illustrated and includes well documented essays by Christiane Schneider and Susanna Greeves. We are specialists in Catalogues: Exhibitions, Auctions, Collections, etc., with a picture of the cover available on request. All items are as described and dispatched within 36 hours in a secure package. We are professional booksellers with over 32 years experience, you may order with confidence.
