Tagore had extensive Hungarian relations, between 1920 and 1925 about 30 works were published in Hungarian. In October 1926, he arrived to Hungary for a Central European tour, where he spent a longer time in Balatonfüred and, met Miklós Horthy and prominent persons of Hungarian literary life.
