About This Item

Bucarest: Imprim. Independance, Rue R. Poincare, 17, 1926. Original Sewn Wrappers. Good binding. A French philosophical pamphlet, perhaps by the Romanian philosopher Ion Petrovici, on religion and metaphysics. Printed in Bucharest during its Golden Age; during the 1920's and 30's inter-war period, the city was known as Micul Paris or 'Little Paris,' due to the boom in elaborate architectural works and cultural activities, up until the devastation of the city in WWII. Inscribed on the verso of the title page: "A mon home(?) Toning to the title page, some sunning to the covers, and beginning of separation along the spine. Sewn pamphlet with original pink paper wrappers. 68, [1] pp. An uncommon artifact from the height of Bucharest's past. Not located in OCLC. Good binding.
