About This Item
(London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1923). Demy 8vo; original blue cloth, with paper title label to backstrip; dustwrapper; pp. 173. Dustwrapper edgeworn and rather browned, especially to spine panel (a remarkable survival nonetheless); spine slightly cocked; name signed on front free endpaper; endpapers and edges somewhat foxed, occasional foxing elsewhere. Good condition. This anthology of essays, published not long before Milner's death, sets out his ideas on many matters relating to finance and administration, in which areas he displayed brilliant insight. .
