About This Item

New York: The Viking Press, 1950. Pictorial cover. Very Good +/Very Good +. Kurt Wiese. A very presentable copy of the 1950 correct 1st edition (not the "Junior Literary Guild" re-issue). Solid and VG+ (just a touch of light offsetting at the inner hinges) in a crisp, price-intact, VG+ dustjacket, with very mild chipping along the spine crown and the top-edges, and a bit of mild spotting to the front flap-fold. Still though, very sharp. Octavo, nicely illustrated in black-and-white by Kurt Wiese.
