Hardback - publisher's red cloth with gilt title to spine and blind title to front board, endpapers with publisher's list. pp viii, 664. Size: 7.5 x 5.25 inches approx. (194mm x 133mm).

Cloth worn and rubbed, a little grubby and stained in places. Boards knocked to corners; spine ends turned-in. Title page torn and damaged from a poor repair with glue, name in ink to upper margin; pages dusty and with some occasional heavy foxing; edges of page-block dusty and spotted; newspaper clipping pasted to rear endpaper.

Nonetheless, showing wear but a reasonably Very Good copy.
