London / Paris: Boussod, Valadon & Co, 1897. Half-Leather. Good. Beautifully illustrated Biography by the Queen's Librarian. Frontis illus. is a lovely Chromolithograph portrait of the Queen with her son. 24 other full-page Monochrome illustrations, protected by tissue guards. Also other In-Text illustrations. Brown Morocco Half-Leather Binding with 5 Raised Bands to spine. Gilt Lettering in 2 compartments and Gilt National Crowned Emblems in others. Vellum covered Boards with Gilt Royal Coat of Arms on front. Large Leather corners. Top page edges Gilt, other edges untrimmed. 200 Pages, 13" Tall, 3 Kilos. Boards detached but present. 3 raised bands have pieces missing. Some edge wear. Previous owner's name on blank preliminary page. No other inscriptions. Light water stain on bottom corner of 2 pages ( mostly marginal, just affecting the corner of one plate. ). Otherwise Pages and Plates in nice, clean condition. Heavy book, weighs 3 Kilos so Shipping outside UK will be extra. Size: Folio - over 12" - 15" tall
