Fine, bright copy in dust jacket with minor wear to the spine ends and corners, a tiny closed tear to top edge of rear cover, and lightly rubbed along flap folds. 20th Century Crime & Mystery Writers on page 49 says: "In Slippery Ann, Clunk gets a client acquitted but immediately initiates additional inquiry. This leads him to Sturton, a seaport town, where he uses his operatives, John Scott, a one-armed veteran, and Miss Jones." A Crime Club mystery title.
