(Harte's story was first published in 1886.) Book is As New, crisp and clean, with tight binding and sharp corners. Offsetting of front flaps onto endpapers. Boards are beige, with paste-down illustration on front. Edges are bright green. Price-clipped dust jacket is fresh and bright, with just a trace of tanning at edges. Illustrated with Kate Greenaways's delicate art. 8vo. 64 pp. In protective Mylar. .
