A biography of Caroline of Brunswick [ 1768 - 1821 ] who was Queen of the United Kingdom for a short period after her estranged husband, The Prince of Wales ( who she had married in 1795 ) became King George IV in 1820. He hated her and vowed she would never be Queen, but she returned from exile in Italy to a raptuous welcome from the British population and whilst they despised King George for his wanton ways, they adord their new Queen.
