Bound in a half crimson morocco and published by Goupil & Co., fine art publishers. Decorative endpapers. All plates and vignettes present as well as color frontispiece. Rebound with original wraps included in the rear. Includes portraits of Queen Anne that were being held at Windsor Castle and Kensington Palace. This work focuses on the politics, literature, and society during the reign of Queen Anne. Printed and engraved by Manzi, Joyant and Co at Asnieres-sur-Seine. Some wear/rubbing to edges, tips, hinges, and spine. Small chip at bottom of spine. Interior is very clean. Solid, strong binding. Large book. Additional shipping may be required.
