As the quasars were investigated further it became clear that they are amoung the most exciting discoveries in astrophysics in this century." This volume is a collection of lectures given in Manchester in 1965, when quasars were attracting attention in the popular media. 112 pp. Very slight edgewear to book, light wear and light creasing to DJ edges, a couple tiny closed tears, and light scuffing to DJ surfaces. Gilt lettering to book spine, tight, bright, clean.
