There is some beginning rubbing to the spine ends and corners of the book covers. The text pages are clean and bright. The dust jacket is mostly clean and bright, with the exception of two small edge tears to the upper rear panel and some light generalized rubbing to the spine and flap joints. "A respectful biography written by an admiring grandson, we learn of Captain John Clar's life: his graduation from Spain's Naval Academy, his U. S.
