New York: Farrar & Rinehart, 1940. First Edition. . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Wittmack, Edgar Franklin. Bound in terracotta cloth with titles in black. First edition, with the publisher's colophon to the copyright page. 266 pages plus a short excerpt from the author's previous title, "Langford's Luck". The ninth volume in the author's Hillton Series for boys. With a frontispiece on plain paper. The cloth shows light wear with tiny corner frays. Front hinge started 1/2" at top and bottom, but not likely to get worse unless very roughly handled. A clean, tight copy. Uncommon title. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall
