WITHDRAWN stamp, and a few other library markings on the endpapers. Text pages are clean, crisp, and unmarked. No underlining. No highlighting. No margin notes. Quality in Translation : Proceedings of the IIIrd [Third, 3rd] Congress of the International Federation of Translators (FIT), Bad Godesberg, 1959. There is also another title page that reads: La Qualite en Matiere de Traduction : Actes du IIIeme Congres de la Federation International des Traducteurs. Bound in the original red pebble-grain (imitation leather) cloth, lettered in shiny gold on the spine and front cover. Contains papers that were presented at a 1959 Bad Godesberg conference on language translation. Most of the contributions appear to be in English, French, or German, but at least one is in Spanish, and maybe some other languages too.. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine EX-LIBRARY/No dust jacket. 8vo. xxiii, 544pp. Great Packaging, Fast Shipping.
